I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with advanced training in supporting children, women, and families through life’s earliest and most meaningful transitions. My approach to therapy is warm, relational, and grounded in connection — built on the belief that healing happens within safe, understanding relationships.
I completed a post-graduate certificate in Play Therapy, where I learned to use play as a child’s natural language for self-expression and emotional growth. I also pursued specialized coursework in Perinatal Mental Health and am eligible for certification in this area, as well as a year-long program in Infant Mental Health, deepening my understanding of early development and attachment.
My work focuses on:
- Emotional and behavioral support for children
- Perinatal & maternal mental health, including pregnancy & postpartum transitions
- Women’s issues, including identity, relationships, and self-care
I received my BASW from the University of Pittsburgh and my MSW from Temple University, where I later completed a post-graduate certificate in Play Therapy. I began my career as a Medical Social Worker primarily focusing on maternal and child health. During this time, I also completed my M.Ed from Alvernia University, including graduate coursework in Special Education, which strengthened my ability to support children with diverse learning and developmental needs.
I later transitioned into the school setting as both a School Social Worker and School-Based Therapist and ultimately left for a fulltime Play Therapist role. My interest in whole-person care led me to become the Director of an Integrated Behavioral Health program, where I created and implemented programs that wove behavioral health services into primary care environments.
After welcoming my child, I took time away to focus on my family while remaining connected to the field through per-diem work. I am currently working as therapist within a Maternal Dependency program.
*While I am in the process of becoming in-network with insurance, I currently accept private pay. I’m happy to provide a superbill that you can submit to your insurance for possible reimbursement.
